Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, but how well can he eat. If world champion eater Joey Chestnut has his say, we might find out soon enough.

Chestnut is the GOAT at eating, but Brady is obviously proud owner of that title on the gridiron. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Joey said that he would love to go head-to-head against TB.

The 38-year-old eating legend opened up a bit to TMZ ahead of the big Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4th. He takes inspiration from Brady, because the GOAT QB battled into his 40s.

Chestnut was asked if he would take Brady on, and he was all about it. Only time will tell if they actually make that happen. Brady might have an upper hand, especially if they go for deserts.

“I don’t know what he can out-eat me in,” Chestnut sated, but, “It would be awesome to eat against him in any food.”

Joey Chestnut doesn’t seem too preoccupied by a potential Tom Brady showdown. He is busy concentrating on beating his record of 76 hot dogs when the big event rolls around. If Chestnut takes home first place, it will be his 15th championship and seventh consecutive win.
