There are many actors who don’t look back at their work fondly. Jesse Eisenberg, for example, once revealed that he still hadn’t seen Batman v Superman, where he played Lex Luthor. Elizabeth Olsen is one of such actors, but her reason for not having seen her blockbuster Marvel Cinematic Universe film is quite different.

Olsen recently revealed while appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that she still hasn’t seen Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness. It’s quite baffling to consider when the film has scored a massive $950 million worldwide.

I’m not one of those (actors who doesn’t watch her own movies). I’m one of those people who likes to study something so I can figure out how to make it better.

The actress wanted to go for the premiere, but she had a cold. In order to watch it at home, she asked for a copy from Disney. While she got the copy, she couldn’t see the flick because of a mere watermark. Studios put that watermark on screener copies to make sure that if one of them leaks, then they know where it came from.

And so I asked them to send a copy so I could watch it, and it had my name on it and it had the time that I was watching it, and I didn’t want to watch it like that.

Die-hard MCU fans spoke out, and a popular opinion is that it’s quite an insane idea that she didn’t watch her own film because of a watermark. However, those who didn’t like the film on social media are letting her know that she’s lucky she missed it.

Olsen currently doesn’t know where her character ends up after the Multiverse of Madness. She revealed a couple of months ago that it was unlikely WandaVision would be getting another season. However, Agatha Harkness is all set for her own spin-off series, which could also feature the Scarlet Witch.
