Olivia O’Brien recently said that she and Pete Davidson had a bit of a thing going for each other. She said that they briefly dated, but Davidson fired back and denied ever dating O’Brien. While Davidson has dated a lot of celebrities, he denied the allegation in this case.

O’Brien is apparently changing her tune to match with Davidson, as she says that she never claimed that the two were dating. The 22-year-old singer was on BFFs with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna Chickenfry podcast when she said that the two dated.

The singer said that what she said on the show was taken “out of context.” She urged people to stop trying to turn this into a “weird drama” when all she did was text someone.

I never claimed to date anyone. Stop trying to start weird drama over me texting someone 2 years ago.

O’Brien said on the podcast that she did briefly talk to Davidson, but he revealed he was already with someone. She added that Davidson is “hot and he’s really funny.” It seems her comments were taken out of proportion by fans and trolls online.

He texted me and was like, ‘I’m seeing someone else. So, like, I can’t.’ He’s hot and he’s really funny. And he’s really sweet. He’s a really sweet guy.

Olivia O’Brien later replied to all the drama about her comments with an Instagram story. She captioned her thoughts on the matter by saying, “News outlets are taking things I said in an interview (after being asked a VERY specific question) out of contest. I never claimed to date anyone. Stop trying to start weird drama over me texting someone 2 years ago. Jesus Christ.”

The King of Staten Island actor has been linked with a number of celebrities. O’Brien even shared herself flipping off a camera, signaling that she wants the viewers to not say anything unless they saw the interview. Pete Davidson is in a happy relationship with Kim Kardashian, and it seems there’s nothing that might deter the two.
