Cara Delevingne made her debut as a young adult fiction novelist in October 2017 with her new book Mirror, Mirror, which features an LGBT theme. Cara recently went topless in order to advocate for women’s and trans rights.

Cara Delevingne is encouraging her followers to join her in the battle for human rights. The “Only Murders in the Building” actress opened up on the necessity of promoting women’s and transgender rights. She made the statement during an interview for British Vogue’s August 2022 Pride issue, which includes Delevingne as one of 12 LGBTQ creatives on the cover.

“Trans rights, women’s rights, they’re all human rights. This isn’t about, ‘Oh, it’s not my job because I’m not part of the community.’ It’s all of our jobs to stand up for each other.”

The interview was published in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision last week to overturn Roe v. Wade and the constitutional right to abortion, while numerous states also threaten transgender rights.  During a British Vogue video, Delevingne also discussed her coming out journey and the desire to see individuals represented on screen.

“The importance of representation to me, in the industry and the world at large, is that people need to see people like them. Growing up, I didn’t really see many people like me, so I’m just really grateful to be able to be one of those people representing.”

“I never really came out. It was more that I just decided that I was done with being in the closet, I was done with being ashamed for who I loved and who I was, so for me, it was more just being like, ‘Love it love, and we should be able to love who we want.'”

Delevingne is bringing representation to Only Murders in the Building season 2. Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building will include Cara Delevingne. During which she just enjoyed an onscreen kiss with real-life Best friend Selena Gomez.

The British model came out as bisexual in a June 2015 interview with Vogue, and she subsequently told that she wanted to “be as open with people as possible” about her identity.

“I haven’t made a concrete decision about anything. Every day, I change. Every day, I’m discovering new things about myself.”

The August edition of British Vogue will be available on newsstands and digitally on Tuesday, July 19th. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
