Chris Hemsworth truly made a name for himself by portraying the role of Thor, the God of Thunder, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. It appears, the upcoming marvel film will also feature Hemsworth’s kids.

The actor recently revealed that two of his kids, 10-year-old daughter India and one of his 8-year-old twin boys, have roles in the upcoming Marvel film. However, he didn’t specify which of his sons, Sasha or Tristan, makes a cameo. Hemsworth confirmed that one of them portrays a younger version of his character Thor, while India plays a character named Love.

Hemsworth said in a recent interview with entertainment reporter Kevin McCarthy, “It’s really cool; they really wanted to be in it,” He added that the kids of several other costars Taika Waititi (Korg), Christian Bale (Gorr the God Butcher), and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster/Mighty Thor) also appear in the movie. Unfortunately, he didn’t divulge their roles.

“It felt like a one-off fun family experience. I don’t want them to now go and be child stars and actors. It was just a special experience we all had, and they loved it. They had a great time.”

Meanwhile, “Thor: Love and Thunder” hits theaters on July 8 and also stars Hemsworth’s older brother, Luke, in addition to Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Russell Crowe as Zeus, and many more. Though fans have speculated that the film could be Hemsworth’s last time suiting up as the hammer-wielding superhero.

It should be noted, the actor has consistently shared his love for playing Thor. He told Deadline, “I’ll do it until someone says get off the stage, I love it.” If he chooses to move on from this role, his presence will surely be missed in future MCU films.
