Michael Jackson, dubbed the “King of Pop”, is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. Over a four-decade career, his contributions to music, dance, and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture. Another movie about the King of Pop may be coming out, but this time, his family intends to play a larger role.

Some people still think that the issue surrounding Jackson’s child sex abuse caused his legacy to decline. The Leaving Neverland video recently caused controversy as two men claimed that the famous musician had harmed them as kids at his house. Both men assert that they are telling the truth, despite being questioned about their timeliness.

Unsurprisingly, the Jackson family did not enjoy the docuseries, and they are hoping that their next film will shed additional light on the situation, as reported by Mirror UK. A Michael Jackson movie might be made, according to singer TJ Jackson, the King of Pop’s nephew and Tito Jackson’s son. The public will hopefully see the singer in a different light thanks to this movie.

I think it’s awful, to be honest. I think it’s very sad. I think it’s in a way disgusting because what sells in this world is negativity. People like to gossip, people like scandals. My uncle is not here to defend himself, so he’s an easy target. He was always an easy target, because he was always quiet.

But now that he’s no longer with us, there couldn’t be an easier target. Everyone knows who Michael Jackson is. So it’s an easy story to sell. But I truly believe truth always wins out.

The importance my family had in Black culture first, Black people, and allowing people of all nationalities to idolize a Black family or Black figures is something I think gets lost. To become, you know, sex symbols for our huge band and number one in the early ’70s as Black kids is an incredible accomplishment. That story needs to be amplified in my opinion. So, I think there will be a Jackson story, a biopic.

Michael Jackson’s legacy is unmatched in the entertainment industry or elsewhere. Even while there are some arguments that other musicians are more skilled than the late superstar, no one will ever be able to step into his shoes. The Jackson family would never release a movie that was overly focused on a scandal rather than Michael Jackson’s life.
