Jeremy Giambi was paranoid and depressed after the accident. He saw a neurologist and had scans done to try and pinpoint the issue. No diagnosis was made.

Head trauma is known to cause similar behaviors in other athletes. There may be reason to believe that Jeremy Giambi’s suicide stemmed from his brain injury. The details from the medical examiner are sad, but they go a long way in helping to understand the final days of a great athlete we lost far too soon.
