Ezra Miller has amassed a growing list of scandals in recent years. In early 2022, the actor made news after being jailed twice in Hawaii for harassment and violence. Miller has now been accused of harassing a woman in Iceland.

The COVID epidemic was quickly turning into a worldwide pandemic in the spring of 2020, and Ezra Miller started to outstay their welcome in Iceland. The Flash star was scheduled to begin filming “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” the most recent installment in the “Harry Potter” series, in London on March 15, 2020. However, the production was halted because of COVID.

Miller started frequenting the pubs in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, where locals got to know and even like them. Many were familiar with Miller from their first big-budget films, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” (2012) and “We Need to Talk About Kevin” (2011). Miller, who was 27 at the time, also started to display a new, erratic side of their personality, one that alarmed Icelanders.

When asked about Ezra, Carlos Reynir, a bartender at the central Reykjavik tavern Priki Kaffih’s, remarked, “There was always something with Ezra.” Miller was allegedly involved in two fights at Priki, according to Reynir. The first involved an argument between Miller and a male customer that started as friendly banter but ended with the actor choking the victim and then slapping him.

Reynir, who intervened to break up the altercation, claims that although Miller apologized, the other customer instantly dismissed it as a joke. The actor was permitted to keep going to the pub. It was more difficult to ignore the subsequent altercation, in which Miller punched a young woman at the bar.

When video of Miller putting the woman in a chokehold and then pushing her to the ground went viral online in early April 2020, the event made international headlines. The victim Miller assaulted was contacted by Variety shortly after the incident, and she recently gave her permission for her words to be published in this article. In the hazy footage, Miller is seen approaching the woman and asking, “Do you want to fight? Is that what you do?” as she approaches them while grinning and flailing her arms. She lets out an audible cry as Miller grips her neck. Variety has confirmed that the individual who was recording the footage halted to step in.

Since this is the first time she has shared her story publicly, she asked to remain nameless out of respect for her privacy. Miller’s spokesman declined to respond. Variety quotes a person close to the matter as saying that Miller hopes to address the accusations at some point, but for the time being, they are choosing to silently concentrate on their health and recovery.
