Travis Scott is still feeling the effects of the deadly Astroworld tragedy after all this time. Scott lost several business deals and has had to make a full-time job out of rebuilding his public image. Things are finally starting to turn around, as Travis’ collaboration with a huge brand is finally going to see the light of day.

In December, Dior put a pause on the launch of Travis Scott’s capsule collection. It appears no harm was done, as Dior now has the release back on the schedule. Despite the pause, the collaboration was always scheduled to release in the Summer of 2022, so effectively, nothing has changed.

Page Six reports the collection will be available in stores today. The pause was originally ordered after several people were killed at Travis Scott’s Houston music festival last year during a major crowd stampede. Scott was sued relentlessly and is still sorting out the legal mess.

The new Travis Scott Dior collection will be the label’s first-ever collaboration with a musician. That partnership seemed to be in jeopardy after the events at Astroworld. After a cooling-off period, it will go ahead essentially as planned.

Travis Scott has been busy since Astroworld. In addition to his legal troubles, Scott has released new music and performed from time to time. He has also been spotted in the studio working on new material.

The Dior Travis Scott collection was designed by Kim Jones. It was revealed during a recent event which can be seen on Dior’s website. We will have to wait and see if fans are ready to once again accept Travis as an influencer and brand endorser.
