Pop legend Ricky Martin might have to deal with a huge legal issue soon. The star is apparently getting sued by his ex-manager over unpaid dues. Rebecca Drucker claims that Martin has about $3 million in unpaid commissions.

Rebecca Drucker was the manager for the singer in two different periods. Drucker managed Martin from 2014-2018 and then again in 2020-2022. She says that her stints were that way because Martin’s “personal and professional life [were] in absolute turmoil.

The legal complaint was filed with the L.A. Central District Court. The complaint alleges that Drucker helped Martin get “recording contracts, touring and sponsorship deals, and other professional endeavor.” The 15-page complaint states that Rebecca helped the singer make millions of dollars, and thus deserves commissions.

With Rebecca at his side, Martin made millions of dollars and therefore owes Rebecca substantial commissions.

The report of the lawsuit comes from Variety. Drucker’s complaint also states that Martin was hit with a severe, career-ending allegation. Due to her guidance, the Puerto Rican singer came out fully untouched and easily come back into the pop-culture fold.

Drucker alleges Martin of lying and manipulating her, which forced her to resign back in April. She demands a trial by jury against the pop singer. Ricky Martin is currently in the process of releasing his new EP “Play,” which is the sequel to his 2020 EP “Pausa.”
