Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne met when they were 15 and have remained close ever since. They co-starred in Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video in 2014, and they even got matching rose tattoos in December last year. It turns out that their friendship is incredibly close.

Cara Delevingne had a great time kissing Selena Gomez on camera. During an interview with E!’s web series, ‘While You Were Streaming,’ the supermodel opened up about the hit Hulu drama, Only Murders in the Building, and the intimate moment in season 2 when she and Gomez shared a smooch.

“It was just fun. Would anyone in the world not like to kiss Selena? It was just hysterical. It’s just one of those things, especially when you know someone so well, it’s the comfortability and you kind of have fun with it.”

“We never get to see each other as much because we’re so busy. So to be able to spend that much time with her, and also to be able to work with her, she’s just such an incredible person to work with whether I know her or not. She is brilliant, like one of my favorite actors I’ve ever worked with.”

The Hulu series’ second season stars Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short. Delevingne will also join the cast as Alice, an “art world insider.” Her character will eventually fall in love with Gomez’s character, Mabel Mora.

Delevingne, who has talked freely about her experience as a queer woman in Hollywood, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work on the show.

“For me to be able to get to play a queer role meant so much to me, and [Selena] knew that. To represent that was really exciting.”

Steve Martin, Martin Short), and Selena Gomez were introduced to audiences as three strangers who unite over their obsession with real crime to wide acclaim. On the show, the three Arconia residents teamed together to find out what caused their neighbor Tim’s sudden death. They also launched the Only Murders in the Building podcast to document their findings along the way.

The second season of the beloved series is now available on Hulu, having aired on June 28. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
