Wendy Williams has become a television icon due partly to her work on the Wendy William’s show. The show attracted 2.4 million daily average viewers and aired its final episode on June 17th. Though the hit may be over, Williams herself appears to be looking ahead to other ventures.

While speaking to TMZ, Wendy expressed that she wanted to focus more on podcasting than television. She is focusing on her podcast right now after her television career came to a screeching halt.

When you’re famous, podcasts will make more money for me, being famous, than doing the Wendy Williams Show.

Wendy made it clear that she’s 100% retired from doing daytime television. Although she’s at the planning stages of creating her podcast. She does have some special guests already in mind. One of the guests reportedly is the rap legend, Snoop Dogg.
