Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong is certainly one of the most popular singers of all time. Some of the greatest punk songs in rock and roll history were written by him. Billie Joe Armstrong is now determined to avoid being an American Idiot.

The Grammy-winning Green Day singer recently declared he was relocating to the UK while performing in London. In the wake of the Supreme Court removing Roe v. Wade’s federal abortion protections, he said “F**k America.” Billie also added that he was “renouncing” his citizenship.

There’s too much f***ing stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f**king excuse for a country. Oh, I’m not kidding, you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days.

It’s not the first time Armstrong has expressed anti-American feelings. His song “American Idiot” makes fun of American culture. American Idiot is the seventh studio album by American rock band, released in 2004, by Reprise Records.

Throughout his concerts and interviews, he has frequently made political statements. In addition to supporting President Joe Biden, Armstrong is said to have submitted paperwork to run as a Republican in the 2024 presidential race last year. Check out the video for ‘American Idiot’ below.
