Conor McGregor shockingly fractured his ankle at the end of the first round of his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier last year. Things only went downhill for McGregor after that, as he drew the ire of many people due to his questionable actions.

The Notorious One has been working hard on his road to recovery since last year. He has always kept fans updated on his progress, and they couldn’t be happier for the Irishman.

Conor McGregor previously revealed that he will not be making his return to the UFC as a lightweight. This is due to the fact that he plans on competing in the 170 pounds division.

While speaking to MMA Junkie, MMA legend Michael Bisping expressed his doubts over Conor McGregor ever making his way to the top of the MMA world ever again.

“It’s not a fall from grace. It’s not. And I hope he sees it like that because the reality is – I say this all the time – You can’t stay on top of the fight world forever. You can’t. Just to get to the top once, for one fight, is very hard.

We see guys like Conor McGregor, you know, on top of the sport for a long time. Still one of the big; well, the biggest earner by far. But he’s no longer at the top of the sport. He might come back, but I doubt it. Generally, you don’t do that.”

Conor McGregor was also mocked for being an Instagram fighter. Conor McGregor is expected to make his UFC return in July this year. We’ll have to see whether he can win his comeback fight or not.
