Greg Hardy was recently released by UFC while in the midst of a three-match losing streak. The former NFL star will now fight full time in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Hardy has also shown some interest in dipping his toes into the world of professional wrestling.

Hardy recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet about his potential in the squared circle. The former Carolina Panther said if he gets a call from AEW or WWE, he’d go all in. He said he would love to get the call so he could display some showmanship.

“Somebody hit me up, AEW, WWE, hit me up. I’m down. ’ll get in the gym right now. I’ll show up with the Monday night muscles and jump off the side of the rope on anybody. I’ll come out with one of those Rey Mysterio type masks. I’m going to grab a design artist too. You have to have showmanship, or like Goldust, something crazy. It has to be entertainment level stuff.

You can’t just come out with tights on and have a six-pack unless you’re Brock Lesnar or The Rock. I’m an old school fan. I would love to get in there. I’m waiting for the call. If you know somebody that is watching this right now, hit me up and let’s get to work.”

Greg Hardy might hit a huge roadblock due to his sketchy past. His long history of criminal behavior may dissuade Vince McMahon or Tony Khan from taking a chance. Hardy has a history of domestic violence and drug use.

If any promoters are willing to give Greg Hardy a chance despite his character issues, he is ready to give it a shot. Hardy is waiting to hear from one of the big wrestling companies. Fans will have to wait and see if that call ever comes.
