Floyd Mayweather is no doubt one of the best boxers in history. Since he has finished competing in championship fights, it appears that he will continue to be undefeated for the rest of his life. Now that he has ample time, Mayweather can focus on developing the boxers of the future, with his grandson KJ appearing to be the top priority.

KJ is Yaya Mayweather and NBA YoungBoy’s child. KJ could be seen watching Floyd compete in the ring in a video that Floyd shared back in May. Floyd was overwhelmed with pride as he saw KJ’s intense enthusiasm for the sport throughout the entire clip.

During that time, Floyd wrote:

“Grandson, I’m very thankful for your great Granddad teaching me the sweet science of boxing, to hit and not get hit. I believe in working smarter, not harder. I retired from the sport undefeated with all my accolades and on my own terms. Even in retirement, I’m still able to milk the game of boxing, continuing to make 8 figures or more.”

Floyd has recently kept expressing his admiration for KJ. Floyd believes that KJ could be the next great boxer because the youngster has shown a persistent interest in the sport. Mayweather posted on Instagram, “They say pictures say a thousand words, I guess this one says a million. The torch might have skipped a generation!”

Although it is uncertain whether KJ will ever end up as a boxer, with Floyd’s advice and YoungBoy’s enthusiasm, there is no doubt that KJ has the potential to become a legend in the making. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
