Flavor Flav Is Finished Having Kids After 8

Flavor Flav is a well-established rapper who also has quite a large family. In 2019, Flavor welcomed Jordan into his family, his eighth child. Flavor appears to have had enough of growing his family, because 8 is enough.

Flavor Flav is stepping back from procreating. The Public Enemy rapper spoke with TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport, where he stated his Father’s Day was chaotic because he has 8 children and 8 grandchildren. He was asked whether he is done with babies, he responded with a big yes.

“I think so. Yeah, that’s it for your boy.”

Flav, who is 63 years old, found out he has a 3-year-old kid called Jordan in May and told the source that he was overjoyed. In July 2019 Flav was blessed with a boy named Jordan.

“The best gift that a kid can have is both of his parents. He’s learning how to play the drums. His mom got him in violin lessons. Drum lessons and all of that so Jordan is doing really good right now.”

When his former manager Kate Gammell revealed she had a 3-year-old kid and claimed he was the father, Flav was suspicious at first, but following a paternity test in 2019, he became so enamored with the concept that he filed legal procedures to have Jordan formally take his last name, Drayton. Although Gammell and Flav have a fantastic connection now, she acknowledged to HipHopDX that it wasn’t always easy.

“When I told him I was pregnant with his child, Flavor let me go and I was left with thousands of dollars of Flavor Flav merch that I had purchased with my own money. Jordan is not getting any child support from Flavor and I needed money for Jordan’s everyday needs.”

“So, I decided to pull out the merch and sell it to help my son and give a percentage to Children’s Hospital. I doubt I will recoup the money that I put into this, but I don’t care, as any money towards Jordan’s needs is important. The support for Jordan has been fantastic so far.”

When Gammell was working as an assistant for Public Enemy’s frontman Chuck D, the two met. She worked as Flav’s manager for a few years, during which time they began a love relationship.
