Kyrie Irving is certainly one of the best basketball players in the NBA, but his name doesn’t come without controversy. Last year many fans believed his NBA career was done for good due to his refusal to adhere to the COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Now he might be leaving The Brooklyn Nets as well.

The Los Angeles Lakers look to improve their overall team, now that the latest season is over. Even with the likes of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis, only LeBron James did a good job during the season.

For the next season, King James might just be reuniting with an old teammate. According to Shams Charania, who took to Twitter and revealed that Kyrie Irving and the Nets are at an impasse in conversations about his future in Brooklyn.

Due to this, he is likely to become a free agent. It was also said that The Lakers are interested in signing Irving, which would mean fans might get to see James and Irving relive their Cavaliers partnership again.

We will have to wait and see whether Kyrie Irving will end up going to the Los Angeles Lakers. Perhaps Irving’s inclusion might just be the shot in the arm the Lakers need for next season.
