Rajon Rondo was accused of pulling a gun on the mother of his child last month. The violent outburst resulted in a domestic violence charge for the NBA star. Now, the case has been dismissed and Rondo will not face any charges.

TMZ Sports has reported that a judge ordered the dismissal of the petition for an emergency protection order filed against Rajon Rondo. Court documents reveal that Rondo’s accuser reached an agreement. There were no further details on the settlement.

The emergency order was filed on May 13 after the alleged victim claimed that Rondo became upset after she interrupted him while playing video games. Rondo was gaming with his son at the time. In a fit of anger, Rajon was said to have smashed several items around the house.

Rondo threatened the victim’s life at the time. He left and returned with a gun. The family feared for their lives.

The protective order stated that Rajon Rondo was to stay at least 500 feet away from the victim and their children at all times. That order is no longer in effect. It appears the two have worked it out.

Rajon Rondo has not commented on the case. The details of a potential settlement are unknown. Fortunately for Rajon, he won’t be facing any criminal charges over the incident.
