Martin Lawrence is one of the funniest actors in Hollywood. He gave a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and made a hilarious joke involving his fellow comedian and actor Eddie Murphy.

The Bad Boys star said in the conversation with Jimmy Kimmel that Murphy will be the one to pay for their kids’ marriage. This refers to Lawrence’s daughter Jasmin dating Murphy’s son Eric. While they’re living up their relationship, it doesn’t seem it’s at the marriage stage yet.

Lawrence said that if they end up getting married, he’ll make Murphy pay for the wedding. Kimmel asked him if he thinks that their kids will make “some kind of comedy super-baby,” Lawrence said that him and Murphy haven’t talked about it yet.

Imma try to get Eddie to pay for it

The Big Momma star said that they usually stay out of the kids’ business and let them handle it as they want. Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence have both worked together in Boomerang and Life.

We kind of just stay out of their business and let them do their own thing and respect their thing

Jasmine and Eric went Instagram official with their relationship in June 2021. They’ve been dating for about a year now, and their marriage might not be as far as fans think. Lawrence also talked about his BET+’s Martin: The Reunion special, which aired on Thursday.
