Jamie Spears Wants Britney Spears To Sit For Deposition After Trashing Him Online

Britney Spears has been living her best life after her lengthy conservatorship finally came to an end. She recently got married and has been traveling the world. Unfortunately, Britney’s family keeps getting in the way of her good time.

Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, has filed legal documents trying to get a judge to force Britney to sit for a deposition. According to TMZ, Jamie wants her to testify under oath after she trash-talked him online and in her upcoming memoir. Some of the allegations made by Britney are pretty wild.

Jamie Spears wants to fight allegations that she was forced to give eight tubes of blood for medical treatment. Also in question is Britney Spears’ forced participation in therapy. Jamie is also challenging Britney’s claim that she was not allowed to own pain reliever medications.

The reason Jamie Spears wants his daughter to testify is because of her allegations that he abused his role as her conservator. Britney Spears and her legal team have both steadfastly stood by this claim. Jamie does not believe those complaints are valid.

Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, dismissed Jamie Spears’ efforts. He said it was just a bullying tactic. Rosengart believes Jamie is simply trying to intimidate Britney.

Meanwhile, Rosengart has accused Jamie Spears of refusing to sit for a deposition requested by Britney. The attorney has even offered to travel to her home to question him. Whether either ever takes the stand remains to be seen.
