Tyson Fury decided to go out on top after beating Dillian White in front of a rowdy crowd at Wembley Stadium. Fury announced that it was his last professional bout. Now, the heavyweight champ has said he would reconsider if the price was right.

That price is a ludicrous sum of money. Fury took to Twitter to send out a message about what it would take to get him to come out of retirement. Fury is looking for half a billion dollars.

Fury said he did not need the money or the aggravation of fighting. Tyson previously noted that he had $150 million in the bank. He wanted to get out of the fight game while he was young and healthy, but $500 million might entice him.

“Just a quick message, to let everybody know. I, Tyson Fury, the Gypsy King, are happily retired. But to get me out of retirement, considering I don’t need the money and I don’t need the aggravation, it’s gonna cost these people half a billie.”

The previous record for the largest boxing purse was $220 million. That handsome sum was the reward for Floyd Mayweather in his fight with Manny Pacquiao in 2015. Despite Tyson Fury’s popularity, it’s an insane sum.

That is likely by design. Tyson Fury has plenty of other ways to make money if he wants it. WWE would love to have him back. For now, the champion is happily living a life of leisure.
