Megan Thee Stallion has been taking shots at Tory Lanez as the two are in a legal battle. The 27-year old rapper alleged Lanez fired a shot at her that struck her foot. She even expressed that she wants Lanez to land in jail, because she believes he committed the crime.

Stallion is the face on the July cover of Rolling Stone. In the interview that accompanies the issue, the rapper talked about the incident and how it has impacted her both physically and mentally.

The rapper said in the interview that she had to undergo surgery the very night of the shooting. She spent about four days in the California hospital, and even claimed that she still has some bullet fragments in her feet at the time of the interview.

What nobody knows is, I had to get the surgery the same night. I stayed in the hospital in California for maybe four days. Then I was in New York for a while. Both of my legs wrapped up. I could not walk. I still have bullet fragments in my feet right now.

Stallion even said that not being able to walk with her legs wrapped up made her question whether she could continue being Megan Thee Stallion. It definitely explains why she has a strong insistence to seek out justice for herself, since she went through a traumatic experience.

I was very scared that I was not able to be Megan Thee Stallion no more. And I was f*cked up.

Lanez was taken into custody in October 2020 with a semiautomatic firearm assault felony count, a count of carrying an unregistered firearm loaded with ammunition and one count of using a firearm for personal reasons. Megan applied for a protective order against Lanez and received it. Regardless, Stallion has not stopped speaking out against Lanez.
