Tupac will forever be remembered as one of the most influential and popular rappers to have graced the hip-hop world. Even after almost 26 years since his tragic death, Tupac remains an icon for several generations and is still well-loved. He also once took Queen Latifa to a gay club.

Queen Latifah’s contributions to the world of music certainly cannot be understated in any way. She also faced her own troubles regardless of her popularity.

Queen Latifah was honored with a BET Lifetime Achievement Award, and was featured in the ABC News retrospective “Real Queens of Hip Hop.”

While speaking with Hot Ones, Latifah went on a trip down memory lane. She recalled how Tupac Shakur took her to a gay club in San Francisco.

“I was in San Francisco doing a show,” she remembered. “It was my first show over $10,000, which was a New Year’s Eve show at this cool gay club in San Francisco. I was like, ‘Yo I’m here!’ So 2Pac came to club with me. I was like, ‘Yo, 2Pac is in the building!’

They like, ‘Take off your clothes!’ He took his shirt off anywhere. We had so much fun. But that was like my brother and he’s the type of person if he loved you, if he was cool with you, he’d lay his life down for you. I miss him and I love him. Good times. And we were probably high.

Tupac Shakur’s contributions to the world of hip-hop will never be forgotten. Queen Latifah has several memories with the late rapper and that is what matters now.
