‘Chrisley Knows Best’ might be coming to an end after the popular reality series’ stars were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion. Both Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are facing up to thirty years in prison for their crimes. That could result in their show getting the axe.

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley signed on for a 10th season in May. Season 9 was shot before their trial began and will continue to air as normal. The future of the next season is now questionable at best, according to TMZ.

A source close to the situation told the outlet that it is unclear when production for Chrisley Knows Best season 10 will begin. The situation is considered fluid. USA Network execs are waiting to see what the couples’ sentences look like.

Todd and Julie are not scheduled for their sentencing until October. That means USA Network will have to make a difficult decision. They may have to cut the show off before the Chrisleys learn their fate.

The Chrisleys are currently out of jail on bond. They are confined to house arrest and must be electronically monitored. USA could theoretically start filming the new season in the interim, but Todd and Julie would risk saying something incriminating to the camera crews.

USA Network has not publicly commented on the situation. USA will have to make some very tough calls in the coming weeks. If they aren’t confident about how sentencing will go, it might be the end of Chrisley Knows Best.
