Tom Brady is known for his near perfect throwing arm, but he is also famous for going all out in other places. He recently proved that by dying his hair orange for charity.

The Buccaneers QB dyed his hair orange and helped raise a ton of money in the process. Due to Brady dying his do, The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation was presented with a check for $117,000.

“The support of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in our fight to end childhood cancer is invaluable,” NPCF exec David Frazer said. “The team’s continued commitment to assist kids facing a cancer diagnosis makes them so much more than a sports team — they are truly heroes, rallying to create a better tomorrow for their young fans and supporters nationwide.”

The Buccaneers team has worked with the charity for 8 years now. All in all, they have helped bring in over $500k. Only time will tell how many more hundreds of thousands of dollars they will help raise in the future.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
