Ted Lasso has delighted audiences all over with its unique brand of comedy. The third season is very like to be the show’s last as they are writing the season finale as if it’s the end.

Apple TV+ users will really have to justify their memberships to the streaming platform soon enough. Ted Lasso, the streaming service’s most popular show by far, is planning to close up shop.

While speaking to TVLine, Brett Goldstein, who plays Roy Kent, revealed that the ending of Ted Lasso season 3 is being written like there will be no more shows. They apparently plan to end the series and he even provided a comical spoiler in the process. .

“We are writing it like that. It was planned as three. Spoiler alert: everyone dies.”

Ted Lasso creators Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, and Bill Lawrence have previously said that they have three seasons planned. It seems that if season four happens then that will mean they changed those plans.

Fans of the show can only hope that the journey of an optimistic college professor teaching an English Premier League team continues. Keep checking back with Thirsty for more!

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
