Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey had a great time together and brought out the best in each other but that time is over now. Lori’s father, Steve Harvey, recently spoke out about the breakup, expressing his faith that both Michael and Lori Harvey will be just fine. That being said, he’s taking his daughter’s side on everything.
During The Steve Harvey Morning Show on Monday, Harvey spoke out on his daughter Lori’s breakup with Michael B. Jordan, stating he’s “pretty sure they’ll be fine.” After being together for nearly a year, the famous couple reportedly split up last week.
“I feel fine. I’m fine…I still gotta go to work…I still gotta take care of my family. I’m team Lori, 1000 percent. She’s my daughter. I love her, I support her.”
The renowned comedian continued by stating that having the spotlight on you makes it tough to sustain a great relationship. Harvey himself has been married three times.
“Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends…I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing. As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do.”
“He’s still a cool guy…from what I know. It’s a breakup. I’m pretty sure they’ll be fine. People break up all the time. I just wish I could have broke up without the cost factor! I got to start learning from my children, get out early! I waited way too late.”
Lori and Jordan first announced their relationship on Instagram in January 2021, and they have seemed to do quite well in the year since. Jordan’s urge to take the relationship to the next level, according to a People magazine, did not sit well with Lori. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
