Homophobia is not uncommon today and it looks like Ray J understands that very clearly. He recently dropped a video where he did not shy away from standing up for gay men during Pride month.

Ray J recently went live on Instagram on Monday, June 6, where he shared that straight men need to show more love to the LGBTQ+ community. He also had quite a shout-out to the community in the process.

“A lot of n***** that’s straight they don’t be trying to shout out to the gay community. All my gay n***** over here are like ‘wait,’ so I gotta do it because I wanna make sure n***** know I’m showing nothing but love.”

“Listen, I just wanna say that it’s gay pride month. Shout out to all my gay n*****. Shout out to everybody in LGBT community,” Ray continued. “I told my n***** that there need to be more straight n***** giving love to the gay n***** and I hate using the N-word but look it’s serious tho.

“Like I got a lot of gay friends and I got a lot of real n***** that’s gay and we make a lot of money together but it ain’t just about the money. It’s just n***** is cool and that whether you’re a gay female or a gay dude or you a straight dude whatever it don’t matter. But there need to be more straight n***** showing love to the community.”

Later on in the video, Ray J went on to shout out the “Glam Squad” and said that he wants to sponsor pride month as he went on repeating the word “Ray Pride.”

Other celebrities like Cardi B also seem to be taking pride month quite seriously as she was spotted in West Hollywood during the weekend giving out samples of her Dairy-Free Vodka Infused Whipshots to celebrate Pride. Taking all that into consideration, Happy Pride Month from everyone here at Thirsty.
