Manifest premiered on NBC in 2018. It chronicles the story of a group of airline passengers who mysteriously reappeared after five years. Netflix has now revealed the the first look at the series’ revival.

Netflix has officially teased the first look from the Manifest season 4 resurrection as part of the ongoing Geeked Week celebrations. The show follows the passengers as they try to discover out how and why they vanished, while also trying to make sense of the voices and visions they have, which seem to prophesy future events. Despite a large fan base, NBC decided to terminate Manifest after season three.

With the third season of Manifest ending on a dramatic cliffhanger and creator Jeff Rake selling the show to NBC with a six-season arc in mind, there were certainly more stories to be told. Despite the fact that initial talks to find a new home for the series fell down, Netflix finally decided to save Manifest and renew it for a fourth and final season of 20 episodes.

Although nothing is known about the plot of the upcoming Manifest season 4, it has been revealed that Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Luna Blaise, Parveen Kaur, Holly Taylor, Daryl Edwards, and Matt Long will all return. Netflix has released the first official sneak peek for the Manifest revival, promising some of the season 4 content. Michaela Stone snoops around a shipping yard before discovering an injured man locked in a cargo container in the two-minute short, which is presented by Dallas.

The frightening inscription “Stone 828” is carved into the skin of the man’s forearm. Manifest is known for its slow-burn mystery, and Netflix’s resurrected season 4 appears to be following suit. The meaning of the inscription on the man’s arm is unknown at this time, although 828 is the flight number of the first missing plane, implying a broader conspiracy.

Netflix is no stranger to bringing back popular shows, but not all of them are as successful as their prior iterations. Netflix, for example, resurrected Arrested Development for seasons 4 and 5, both of which witnessed a notable drop in quality. While it’s too soon to say whether Manifest will suffer the same fate, the new trailer suggests that the show is still very much the same as when it initially debuted in 2018.

The new Manifest season 4 trailer also indicates that the central mystery surrounding Flight 828, which has driven the show so far, will be answered before the final episode. Take a look at the new video below.
