Jeff Molina has found a section of the MMA community that he’s at qualms with. The UFC potential flyweight contender fought against Zhalgas Zhumagulov this Saturday, and emerged victorious on the UFC Fight Night 207.

Molina revealed that he had been getting quite a lot of criticism leading up to the fight. While one would think it was about his quality as a fighter, it was about the choice of his shorts.

The UFC star announced ahead of the fight that he would come into the Octagon wearing Pride themed shorts. That led to a fair deal of fans getting offended on his choice of shorts. The 24-year old found it quite puzzling that people are still not open minded in 2022.

Molina told reporters at the post-fight conference that he picked the colors out of how cool they look while supporting a cause. He said that he would support any community that has gone through a lot of persecution, and this case is no different.

I was honestly shocked. So I picked the colors because I thought it looked cool and then also it supports a good cause, you know. But I will support anything of a community that’s been oppressed and ostracized for some time now for something they can’t help. I’ll get behind any of that.

Dude, it’s f*cking ridiculous. Man, who would have thunk that in 2022 people are still, who the f*ck cares, bro? Like honestly, it’s not even about being an ally. I’m not saying I’m not, but it’s like just be a f*cking decent person. Like just be a decent human being.

Molina found it quite ridiculous. He added that people are still shy of being a decent in the current year. He added that judging anyone because of their religion or sexual preference is “just spiteful, hateful sh*t.”
