Josh Allen was among several NFL stars to take part in last night’s ‘The Match’ golf event. The made-for-TV outing took place at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. The Buffalo Bills QB teamed with Patrick Mahomes against Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers in the crossover sporting spectacle.

Disaster nearly struck when Allen hit his t-short about 60 feet off line. The errant drive missed the green by a huge amount on the par 3 hole. It then sailed directly into the back of the head of a fan in the gallery.

Video of the ill-fated shot was shared by @BackNineBullies. Fortunately, the fan was not seriously hurt. He did fall to the ground and was a little shaken up.

The fan lay on the ground, checking for blood. Once he realized he was going to be alright, he took a moment to collect himself. Josh Allen did what he could to make it right.

Allen repeatedly apologized to the fan for the poor shot. He also gave him some swag to show he was sincere. The fan went home with a signed golf ball, a glove, and a football.

Despite a sizeable bump on the spectator’s head, no serious damage was done. He was treated with ice and checked out for further injury. Fortunately, he’s got nothing but a great story to tell and some autographed gear from one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks.
