WWE is all about signing someone if they can make money with them. They have seen some success in the past when bringing MMA fighters to learn the ropes in a pro wrestling ring. Now they are going for one more.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE is interested in Bellator star Valerie Loureda. She is expected to receive a contract from Vince McMahon’s company as well.

It was reported that Loureda made a great impression and her signing seemed like a “slam dunk.” There is hope to have her signed and start at the WWE Performance Center soon.

Bellator MMA star Valerie Loureda is expected to be signed by WWE, if she hasn’t already. We were told by WWE sources that Loureda made a great impression recently, and seemed like a “slam dunk” to end up in the company. The last we’d heard, the signing wasn’t official as of yet, but they hoped to have her signed and able to report to the WWE Performance Center by mid-July.

She has been training with WWE legend Gangrel, Neilo Costa and others since WrestleMania. She also did a week-long tryout at the WWE Performance Center..

Bellator wanted to keep her, but it seems that WWE is a much more attractive offer. The 23-year old Bellator MMA fighter is a 3-1 pro, and her last win was a split decision over Taylor Turner in November 2021.
