Jeff Gladney’s Girlfriend Also Died In Fatal Car Wreck

The sports world was shocked with Cardinals CB Jeff Gladney was killed in a fatal car wreck. Now more information is coming out about this tragic passing, because Gladney was not alone.

TMZ reports that the late 26-year-old NFL player’s girlfriend, Mercedes Andrea Palacios, was also in the car during that fatal accident. It was previously reported that another person was in the car, but their identity was not confirmed.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Dept. said in a statement to TMZ Sports … the Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed Gladney and the 26-year-old woman he was dating, Mercedes Andrea Palacios, died in the crash.

It was previously reported that Gladney was speeding down the road and clipped another car to cause this wreck. When authorities showed up Gladney’s car was turned over and on the road. Sadly, both people in the car were killed. The other car in the wreck did not see any injuries.

Police did not identify Gladney’s girlfriend for a while. It is not known what the holdup was. This is obviously a tragic and very sad time for everyone involved. Our thoughts are with them all from everyone here at Thirsty.
