LeBron James’ contributions to the world of professional basketball can never be understated. For many fans, King James is the true GOAT of basketball and he has worked hard to earn that status. As such, his name carries a lot of value and anything related to him can be sold for a ton of cash.

According to TMZ, a very rare item from LeBron James’ iconic high school career will be making its way to an auction house soon. The item in question is a basketball signed by James and his teammates from St. Vincent-St. Mary.

James was a massive star in high school and his accolades speak for themselves. He was a 2-time Mr. Basketball USA, 2-time Gatorade National Player of the Year, 3-time Ohio Mr. Basketball, McDonald’s National Player of the Year and a 2003 national title on top of that.

Before that, LeBron James’ teammates from the  2000 season all teamed up and autographed the basketball. His teammates Dru Joyce, Sian Cotton and others can be seen inscribed on the ball.

The basketball is set to be on auction at Heritage Auctions on June 4 and is expected to be sold for $5K. We’ll have to wait and see whether it will be sold for that much or not.

This ball could go for a lot more than 5k depending on what kind of LeBron collector steps up. Keep checking back with Thirsty for more!
