Kailyn Lowry became part of the mainstream thanks to her appearance on MTV’s Teen Mom 2. It did not take Lowry long to become one of the bigger names on the show as well. She also made a shocking claim recently.

Kailyn Lowry and her ex Chris Lopez have not been the best of friends for a long time. In fact, a bitter feud between the two has made a rift in their relationship and parenthood.

During the latest Teen Mom Reunion episode, Kailyn Lowry talked about a “pivotal” moment in her life that ultimately led her to therapy. Lowry said Chris Lopez almost ended her life in the past.

The situation was brought up after Lowry said she goes to therapy two times a week. Reunion hosts Dr. Drew Pinsky and Nessa Diab asked her why she goes to therapy. She revealed that Lopez almost killed her in 2019 as part of domestic violence.

”That was the pivotal moment in my life where I was like I need help,” she said, telling them that someone almost killed her.

“Was it like a domestic abuse situation, was it just a random act of violence, was it somebody you knew?” Pinsky asked.

“Chris almost killed me in October 2019 by domestic violence,” she confirmed.

I just haven’t figured out the right time or way to tell my whole story,” she said. “I don’t think it’s something that people openly talk about.”

Lowry obtained a protection from abuse (PFA) against Lopez in 2019, according to a report by In Touch Weekly. He was arrested and spent a week in jail in January 2020 after he violated the order. Their feud might not be ending anytime soon by the looks of it.
