Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard in a wild $50 million defamation suit between the two ex-lovers. The wild testimony and insane accusations have made for must-see daytime viewing among gossip junkies. The media circus surrounding the trial is unprecedented.

This morning, hundreds gathered outside the courthouse in Fairfax, Virginia to try and get a seat for the proceedings. The trial is expected to wrap up this week, and nobody wants to miss out on one last chance to see Johnny Depp and Amber Heard duke it out in their hometown. Only a select few will receive a coveted wrist band allowing them entry, according to TMZ.

Fans have been gathering outside throughout the trial. Johnny Depp recently did his best Captain Jack Sparrow in acknowledgment of some supporters who waited to see him. The scenes could easily be mistaken for Hollywood awards show instead of a lawsuit.

Most of the gathered fans appear to be supporting Johnny Depp. Depp has been the clear leader in the court of public opinion. Of course, the jury will ultimately decide who is telling the truth in the ongoing legal matter.

Johnny Depp has interacted with supporters throughout the case. He seems happy to have people backing him. On social media, Amber Heard has become somewhat of a pariah.

Closing arguments are expected to get underway on Friday. That means there are precious few opportunities for fans to get a look in person. After that, Fairfax will finally be back to normal.
