Amber Heard has recently been the target of a lot of hatred. She has been called a liar on social media before, but this time things got out of hand. Amber’s friend Eve Barlow recently criticized the ‘despicable’ graffiti depicting the actress as a liar with a long nose.

According to Radar Online, Amber Heard’s close friend Eve Barlow was startled and enraged by a mural picturing the actress as Pinocchio. “This is despicable,” Barlow wrote on Twitter and Instagram as Heard’s $100 million legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp nears a conclusion, displaying street art portraying Heard with an elongated nose to call her a liar.

“This is despicable. Of course given my work, it immediately reminds me of antisemitism; a form of violent prejudice that often starts with signs and words (and graffiti). But targeting one individual? Frightening. Absurd. Horrific. #IStandWithAmberHeard”

Barlow was in the courtroom with Heard during the first week of the trial in Virginia, but she was chastised for texting and tweeting in the front row. She was eventually thrown out when Depp’s lawyers accused her of inappropriate behavior. While speaking out about the graffiti, Barlow claimed that when Depp comes to court, he is “greeted like a rockstar playing a sold-out residency.”

“The other goes to court every day fearing for her personal safety,” the British music journalist continued, clearly referring to Heard. “Make a mockery of this trial, and spew this kind of hatred, and you are complicit in this widespread propaganda,” Barlow stated in her caption. “If it can happen to one survivor, it will happen to more. What happened to silence is violence?”

Barlow previously compared the Rum Diary actress’s struggle with Depp to “David and Goliath,” warning fans not to be “fooled” by forces operating behind the scenes. As the trial nears its conclusion on Friday, the judge denied Depp’s legal team’s motion to dismiss Heard’s defamation countersuit.

When everyone else is rooting for Johnny, at least Amber has someone who is always there for her. The case will be concluded on Friday, and who will win remains to be seen. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
