Jerry Jones is, without a doubt, one of the most well-known NFL team owners. He is the man in charge of the Dallas Cowboys, and he is a true believer in his team. Jones is also well aware of the value of his club and franchise. After all, they are one of the most well-known teams in the NFL, and they have a slew of championships to prove it.

Some have wondered how much the Cowboys are worth. The Denver Broncos are expected to sell for $4.5 billion, and there is debate over how much each team is worth, at least on paper. Jones stated to NBC’s Peter King that he will never sell his Cowboys, but he could sell the team for $10 billion tomorrow.

“Let me make this very clear. I’ll say it definitively. I will never do it. I will never sell the Cowboys. Ever. […] The NFL, in my mind, the visibility, the volume, the overall passion, you frankly can’t get it anywhere else. That’s why all these people want a piece of it.”

$10 billion seems like a lot of money, especially considering the franchise’s current value of $6.5 billion. In any case, Jones is correct on one point. The NFL is tremendously profitable and investors would jump at the chance to benefit from it. Odds are Jones isn’t changing his mind about selling the Cowboys, but it’s nice to know how much expensive things you can’t afford are worth, including NFL franchises.
