R. Kelly may be behind bars, but that doesn’t mean he can’t make new friends. If reports are to be believed, the hip-hop icon has befriend the man charged with shooting up a Brooklyn subway.

According to New York Daily News, Kelly befriended Frank James after the latter landed in jail on charges of shooting up a Brooklyn subway and injuring 10 people. The two are in jail together at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park.

“Both do get along. They actually sit together and eat together. They talk about TV shows. They go out to rec together. They’re buds.”

If you wondered what kind of person would befriend R Kelly in jail, then now you have your answer. The same can also be said about who would hang out with the Brooklyn subway shooter.

We have to wonder if those performances are as sexually charged as they were when he was touring the world with Bump n Grind. According to Kelly’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, the singer has no control on who gets to share the prison with him.

Kelly is currently awaiting sentencing after being found guilty of sex trafficking and federal racketeering back in September. Keep reading Thirsty for more!
