Kendrick Lamar established himself as one of the best rappers in the hip-hop world right now. His music continues to touch people all over the world as well. Lamar was also confused by Kanye West and Drake ending their beef.

Lamar previously hinted at dropping a new album soon and it finally happened this week. Last year, the ongoing beef between Kanye West and Drake became one of the main topics of discussion in the music world. This included the instance where Drake called out Kanye West in his new song.

Kanye West then made it clear that he wants to finally end his beef with Drake. He wanted Drake to come together and join him on stage for a benefit concert to free Larry Hoover, the convicted co-founder of Chicago street gang Gangster Disciples. That is exactly what happened as Kanye West and Drake finally ended their beef last year.

One of the tracks in Lamar’s latest album called Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, had many moments of lyrical brilliance. Fans also noticed how on “Father Time”, Lamar noted that he was confused by Kanye West and Drake ending their beef.

“Daddy issues kept me competitive, that’s a fact, n*gga
I don’t give a f*ck what’s the narrative, I am that n*gga
When Kanye got back with Drake, I was slightly confused
Guess I’m not as mature as I think, got some healin’ to do”

It was a small mention on an otherwise very introspective track relating to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘daddy issues.’ Fans are certainly enjoying Lamar’s first album in five years and that is what matters right now. We’ll have to see how successful the album will turn out to be.
