Jerry Jeudy appeared to be headed for a rough legal battle. The Denver Broncos wideout was recently arrested on domestic violence criminal tampering charges. Jeudy was accused of illegally keeping property from his child’s mother.

Today, the alleged victim has asked a judge to throw out the case. She said she has never felt threatened by Jerry Jeudy. It was also confirmed that he never became physically combative towards her.

The judge had initially imposed a protection order on Jeudy. The victim did not request such an action. His attorney claims he should never have been arrested in the first place.

“Bad things happen to good people and that’s what I think this case is.”

The judge allowed Jerry Jeudy to be released for now. The next court date is set for May 31. Thus far the judge has not dismissed the case.

If the alleged victim’s request is met, Jerry Jeudy will be a free man. His legal team believes this was all a misunderstanding. We will have to wait and see if the judge agrees or if the charges will move forward.
