Matt Damon Dragged For Pushing Cryptocurrency As Market Crashes

The cryptocurrency market has taken massive dive in the past few weeks and people are taking this opportunity to drag those who promoted it. Matt Damon did an advertisement for Crypto.com, and considering the current state of the market, Twitter users are dragging the actor.

Matt Damon has become a subject of ridicule on Twitter among fans for pushing crypto. As you may know, the market for the decentralized currency has lost a whopping $200 Billion in capitalization.

Damon did “Fortune Favors the Brave” commercial for the blockchain-centered technology last year. At the time the crypto market was sitting at the mountain top unlike today.

A fan on Twitter wrote, “Matt Damon was in Oceans 11, 12, 13. You crypto guys just fell victim to his latest heist.” Whereas another noted, “If you bought crypto because Matt Damon told you to, maybe you deserved to learn a hard lesson.”
