WWE RPG Video Game In Development

WWE is expanding its horizons in the gaming market and now they don’t just want to be limited to simulation games like WWE 2K22 and other installments in the same series. The company made a major announcement regarding upcoming WWE game.

During WWE’s Q1 2022 investor’s call today, Stephanie McMahon announced that the WWE RPG game is in development. This marks a first for WWE in the role-playing game genre.

WWE RPG basically means a world set in the WWE universe with characters that fans can choose to advance through the crafted storyline. More freedom in the game mechanics compared to the current WWE games.

Of course, she didn’t expand on this RPG idea. Fans can only hope that a console game is in the future, but they might have to settle for a smart phone app.
