Kris Jenner May Not Have Been Directly Involved In Kim Kardashian’s Private Video Deal

Kim Kardashian became a household name in 2007 when her sex tape with singer Ray J got leaked and became a sensation. It catapulted her to success, just not in a way she expected at first. Kris Jenner also might not have been involved in the sex tape negotiation.

Many have accused Kim Kardashian of being behind the tape’s release over the years. Even Ray J himself stated that Kim Kardashian helped him release the sex tape.

Ray J had claimed that even Kris Jenner was directly involved with the sex tape. According to TMZ, it was reported that Kris Jenner never negotiated with Vivid Entertainment, which distributed the tape back in 2007.

It was said that Ray J dealt with Vivid directly and with their lawyers. While that may be the case, Ray J might not be lying either. Jenner still had nothing to do with the actual deal and had no contact with Vivid. This doesn’t mean she didn’t do anything behind the scenes.

Both Ray J and Kim Kardashian signed off on the deal, or else Vivid would have been sued for using their likeness. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story.
