Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s multi-million dollar lawsuit continues to intensify in Virginia. Now that Depp’s lawyers have rested their case, it’s time for Heard to testify. During a Wednesday trial, Heard made some bold claims against her ex-husband.
Heard claimed Depp did a “cavity search” on her while being under the influence of drugs. She alleged that this was just a part of sexual abuse that her husband continued throughout their messy relationship.
TMZ reports that Amber Heard further specified one alleged incident, where Depp penetrated her private parts with a glass bottle. She added that the said act also left her genital bleeding. The other incident she described is quoted below.
“He’s grabbing my breast, he’s touching my thighs, he rips my underwear off,” Heard said through tears. “And then he proceeds to do a cavity search.”
“He was telling me, ‘We’re gonna conduct a cavity search, shall we?” she said. “Just shoved his fingers inside me. I just stood there staring at the stupid light. I didn’t know what to do. I just stood there while he did that. He just twisted his fingers around.”
The couple is facing each other at the Fairfax County Circuit Court. After Depp’s lawyers rested their case, Heard filed a motion to toss the suit out. However, it was rejected by Judge Penny Azcarate. who is presides over the case.
Everyone is eagerly awaiting the conclusion of this battle and Depp himself is hoping that by the end of this he’ll get his reputation reinstated. No matter what verdict comes out the general public is in favor of Depp. As for Heard, she is getting canceled to a certain degree as her Aquaman 2 part was cut down to less than 10 minutes of screen time.
