Kim Kardashian rose to fame in 2007 when her sex tape with singer Ray J became a viral sensation. Before that, she was known as the assistant to socialite Paris Hilton. The titillating tape ultimately brought Kim and her entire family to massive mainstream stardom.

Many have accused Kim K. of being behind the tape’s release over the years. A recent plot on “The Kardashians” showed Kanye West personally returning a second video involving Kim and Ray to keep it from being released. Ray J said none of that was remotely true.

In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, Ray J struck back against allegations that he was plotting to release further sex videos. He claimed that Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner not only consented to the original tape’s release but that they were all for it. Ray also revealed that the contract that was signed to release the sultry video included an additional two future sex romps.

“I’ve never leaked anything. I have never leaked a sex tape in my life. It has never been a leak. It’s always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me and we’ve always been partners since the beginning of this thing.”

Only one tape was ever released. Ray J said that the others were all kept in a shoebox under Kim Kardashian’s bed. Despite the Kardashian Hulu series showing Kanye as a savior of the footage, Ray claims he never had any of the tapes in his possession.

The ongoing drama makes for good reality TV, but it’s hard to know who to believe. The initial tape was released with the consent of the Kardashians, according to Ray J. He sees it as more of a business partnership than a scandal.
