Dave Chappelle was bull-rushed by an unknown man while performing a comedy set at the Hollywood Bowl last night. The huge audience was shocked to see the chaos that ensued. Several people, including Busta Rhymes and Jamie Foxx, came to Chappelle’s aid to help subdue the assault.

Page Six has revealed additional details about the assault. It was reported that the attacker was 23-year-old Isaiah Lee. Lee was taken to the hospital after being beaten down by a mob who was trying to protect Dave Chappelle, where he was then arrested.

Lee is being held on $30,000 bail. Initial reports were that he was carrying a gun at the time of the attack. It is now known that the weapon was only a replica.

Chappelle was able to escape the attack unscathed. After being checked on at the hospital, Isaiah Lee was picked up by the LAPD for assault with a deadly weapon. It was said the fake gun had a knife attached to it.

No motive has been revealed for the unexpected attack. Dave Chappelle was able to resume his set, being joined by Chris Rock, who made a hilarious Will Smith joke. Things went smoothly after the incident and Dave finished his performance.

Isaiah Lee will now face some very serious charges. He also took a serious beating on stage. Dave Chappelle may have lost some popularity over recent controversies, but he had plenty of people willing to get physical to protect him from this wild attack.
