Wendy Williams hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show from 2008 to 2022. She recently went through a difficult time in the public eye, but Wendy is now ready to make a strong comeback. Wendy Williams is doubling down on her promise to return to television. She promised to be back on the air later this year, all while partying it up at the Met Gala.

The longtime host, who has been absent from her show for about a year due to health issues, was out and about in New York City recently. She stopped by the Standard Hotel for an after-party hosted by Cardi B. Speaking of red, her dress was a sight to behold.

TMZ snuck in a quick conversation as she entered the building. Their photographer inquired as to whether Wendy will resume hosting ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’ and she confirmed that she will. Watch to see what her timeline is.

It appears that Wendy is planning a fall return, but the specifics are still hazy. Of course, Wendy was permanently replaced by Sherri Shepherd, so it’s unlikely that the original will return to the show. In any case, it’s wonderful to see her in such good spirits.

As we reported earlier, she’s been dealing with a lot more than just her medical care lately. Wendy is going through a financial crisis, but she put on a happy face for us here. The last time we saw her was at Newark Airport, where she appeared to be on her way to Miami. She was walking around on her own back then, and now she’s back on her feet.
