LeBron James just wrapped up a very difficult year with the LA Lakers. The team struggled to find any sort of chemistry. It seems LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will have a long offseason.

If you paid attention to the Los Angeles Lakers this season, you would have noticed how bad they were despite the high expectations. Everyone expected this team to achieve great things, but in the end, they were not very good. Russell Westbrook was an embarrassment, and Anthony Davis was constantly injured.

As a result, LeBron James was forced to carry the entire team on his shoulders. He performed admirably this season, but it was not enough to overcome the roster’s inconsistency. Despite his strong play, some observers believe he wasn’t doing enough.

Skip Bayless believes this is the worst thing that could have happened to LeBron, and it’s clear that many of the criticisms are out of control. Kent Bazemore of the Lakers was quick to defend LeBron during an interview with TMZ Sports, noting that he did everything he could to save the season.

The dude was third in the league in scoring. What else do you want him to do? He put his body through a lot this year to be there for us. He’s chasing Kareem. He’s done a lot for the game… He’s changing the world.

The Lakers rely on LeBron James, and as the superstar turns 38 this year, it will be interesting to see how his body holds up. In any case, there is no denying that the Lakers will need to make significant changes if they are to be competitive next season. Check out the video below.
